| FLUIDITY, powder coated aluminum, 16’ x 22’ x 18’ | ||
This work symbolizes the constant flow of energy throughout the pipeline that Texas Gas Transmission LLC maintains. The individual lengths of this sculpture turn around on themselves indicating a flow from one point to another. The architecture of the building is classically modern and uses horizontal and vertical lines to suggest stability. I am taking these lines and angling them incrementally to create curves and a flowing motion. The front view takes on the appearance of the infinity symbol. |
